Chronicles Of An Alien
An alien called Jex contrasts Earth culture to his home planet Omega Rorrim. Hear his observations:
• On my planet, we quarantine the contagiously ill by putting them in palaces and studios. Here on Earth you call them royalty and celebrities.
• In Omega Rorrim water is a container. Here on Earth water is content.
• Omega Rorrims wear their natural skin as clothes and hospitalise those who keep changing their skin. Here on Earth you change your skin clothing everyday and call it sanity.
• Cleansing on Omega Rorrim is done as frequently as natural rainfall. Here on Earth, you shelter yourselves with umbrellas and pray for rain when it ceases.
• Animals in Omega Rorrim are seen as spirits. Here on Earth, you consider animals as inferior rivals.
• Up is any direction in Omega Rorrim, but here on Earth up is only skyward.
• On my planet Omega Rorrim, the most revered question is 'why'. Here on Earth, your most revered question is 'who'.
