Psalm 102:13 says: Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. There is a set time for every thing under heaven. It is an appointed time where God intervenes on the behalf of man. No matter how long one has been in a predicament, when the set time comes, there is a supernatural release. For example, one may have been trusting God for the fruit of the womb and yet no child. The childlessness may have lasted for years, but when it is the set time, the baby will come. The Israelites had been in bondage for 430 years. That's over four centuries. It seemed they would be in Egyptian bondage forever. But God's set time for their liberation came. It didn't matter how long they had been in bondage. Their set time had finally come. When their set time came, there was a flow of supernatural manifestations of God's power.
