The Unexpected Way To Your Miracle
Sometimes, we have already fixed expectations about how the miracle we want is to happen. But things don't always happen as expected with God. God works in mysterious ways that don't always match up with what we are expecting. In II Kings 5:11 Naaman had a certain expectation of how he was to be healed: But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper. However, the man of God, Elisha, did not even meet Naaman in person. Elisha simply sent his servant to Naaman and told him to wash himself in the river Jordan seven times then he will be healed. This was not what Naaman was expecting. However, when Naaman washed himself seven times in the river Jordan as Elisha had said, he was completely healed.
