According to the genealogy presented in Luke chapter 3 verse 23 to 38, if one starts counting the generations after Adam, Jacob would be the 21st generation (i.e. the third "seventh son"). So Gad would literally be the fulfilment of the prophecy of the 7th Son of a 7th son.
