• Put adrift on a river as a baby
• Ends up away from his hebrew family
• Runs away from the Egyptians after killing a man
• Encounters a 'burning bush' experience just as things were getting better
• Experiences much ignominy in 'freeing' his people
• Conflicts with his siblings
• Marital dissatisfaction and opts for variety in spouse choice
• Isolated from his 'people' up on a mountain most of the time
• First to receive the law (10 commandments) and first to break it
• Sees the promised land and doesn't enter it
• Seen at the mount of transfiguration but those who saw were told not to tell
• His legacy as regards the law is brought down by the spirit of faith and grace
• After his death, his body is mysteriously contended for by the devil

 The bible is a loaded book with 66 different books containing so many stories, commandments, instructions, doctrines, prophecies, etc. As a Christian, we try to live by obeying the injunctions of the bible. But the bible is so comprehensive that sometimes it seems to contradict itself.
