How Many Eves?

In Genesis chapter 2, the Bible says that God said that it is not good that man be alone. So God made a woman with the rib He took out of Adam.

My question is, what happened to the female God created in Genesis chapter 1?

*[[Gen 1:27]] KJV* So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him;male and FEMALE created he them.
