The Butler Did It

The police had helped the bride-to-be to reduce the 'suitors' to three (3) handsome gods: Apollo, Dionysus & Hermes.

The 'case' had spanned for lifetimes and seemed to always end up with a pseudo-choice: "The big brother". That (i.e. "The big brother") was somehow found out to be the 'final answer'. The only problem was that the definition of "big" was quite ambiguous. Was it "big" in terms of:
A) Age;
B) Physical size and height; or
C) Financial and economic wellbeing.

After many failed attempts at selecting the 'right' suitor for the bride-to-be, a goddess named Veritas finally came up with the sure way means of determining the 'right' suitor by the use of the 'naked mirror of truth'. She revealed that after capturing the three (3) shortlisted 'suitors' in the naked mirror of truth, that the 'right' suitor will actually be the one on the 'left'.

The above solution from Veritas was applied and the bride-to-be truly chose the 'suitor' on the 'left'. That was how police investigators/detectives realised for the first time that "The Butler Did It".😁
